The 2023 Ontario West Table Tennis League is organized by the Ontario West Table Tennis Association (OWTTA). The league is divided into five divisions based on skill levels. Each division consists of six teams (Division E with 5 teams) from different clubs and cities. A total of 29 teams participates in the league, with 158 athletes over 10 different ethnicities, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Polish, Canadian and more. The athletes come from Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Milton, Burlington and other cities. The age range of participants is quite diverse, with the oldest player being 70 years old and the youngest player being under 8 years old. The league spans over a duration of 10 weeks.
The league follows a home-and-away format, with each team having its own home venue. There are a total of 126 matches played each week, amounting to a staggering 1,260 matches throughout the league. The total number of spectators exceeds 10,000.
